The crimson-winged woodpecker (picus puniceus) is a bright and colorful bird that is hard to be mistaken. They are found in the moist lowland forests throughout Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand, and can grow up to 25cm in length.
