The Chestnut-tailed Minla (Minla strigula) is found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, ranging across Bhutan, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
