Each of our Clay Whistle Necklaces are hand-made using locally sourced clay, and hand-painted by our Akha hilltribe artisans.

This forest-dependent species is listed as Near Threatened because its habitat is facing a rapid decline due to the extensive loss of lowland forests. It's population is surviving because of its adaptability to secondary habitats, with numbers also occuring within forests at higher elevations.
