Each of our Clay Whistle Necklaces are hand-made using locally sourced clay, and hand-painted by our Akha hilltribe artisans.

Native to central Taiwan, the Yellow Tit (Parus holsti) lives in montane temperate forests. Because of its striking appearance, with a black pointed head-crest and vibrant yellow plumage the Yellow Tit population is quickly declining due to large-scale capture for export by the wild bird trade.
