Each of our Clay Whistle Necklaces are hand-made using locally sourced clay, and hand-painted by our Akha hilltribe artisans.

The Helmeted Hornbill is one of the largest birds in the hornbill family. The The length of their tails makes up for some of their extra size as well as their distinct head and casque (shaped brow) which sometimes contstitutes 10 percent of the bird’s weight.
